Our natural shredded rubber pillow is made from the same high quality, healthy natural rubber that is used in our organic mattresses.  This natural rubber is hand shredded to ensure consistent, smaller pieces of rubber guaranteed to be softer than our competitors, and then enclosed in an organic cotton cover. You can choose from an organic cotton damask cover, or for an even softer feeling pillow, our organic knit cotton cover.  The damask cover is a great organic pillow choice for those with children as it can be machine washed and dried. (Please note that if you order the knit cover natural shredded rubber pillow, only the outside case can be washed.  The knit covers come with a zippered closure so you can remove the fill before washing. The knit can tear in the wash because of the weight of the wet rubber fill.)  Soft, supportive, and luxurious, these pillows are easily fluffed back up after a good night's rest, meaning they retain their shape better than regular pillows.  (If you desire less loft in your pillow, you may make a small opening in the seam, remove some of the filling and sew up the seam.)
